With new label GLOBETRONICA, PATHAAN is the new Label Manager & Head of A&R for DRAGONFLY RECORDS and LIQUID SOUND DESIGN.
DRAGONFLY RECORDS has been the unparalleled home of underground Trance for over 15 years and has led the way as the first ever dedicated Trance music label. In 1998 LIQUID SOUND DESIGN was set up to create an outlet for more experimental and down-tempo music. The seeds for both were sown by Award winning VERVE producer, YOUTH, way back then and he's has recently asked PATHAAN to take over.
YOUTH says, "I am delighted to extend a very warm welcome to PATHAAN , who has joined the Dragonfly, Liquid Sound Design team as Label Manager and Head of A&R. Pathaan has the experience and the vision to take the labels and our artists to the heights of professional and artistic excellence. His previous work with running the World renowned STONED ASIA MUSIC label and the 'SUNSET' series more recently speak for themselves and I'm sure he will have a seismic impact on the labels growth and success! We are looking forward to a brace of new releases."
SOUND GENERATOR
PATHAAN is to head up SOUND GENERATOR’S newly founded world music section. Known for his genre-bending DJ sets across the globe, Pathaan is one of the very few UK based DJ’s to have truly crossed the dance/world divide. He joins the London based independent dotcom as their world music editor. Pathaan will head an editorial team providing news, reviews and artist features.
Sound Generator formed in 1999 and is one of the most highly trafficked and fastest growing independent music sites in the UK and North America, with in excess of 700,000 readers every month. A newly designed site, include sin depth areas for each of its seven genres (alternative / blues, jazz & country / classical / dance / rock / urban / world).
